Having been called upon to report whether the recent instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies respecting the Contagious Diseases Ordinances will diminish or otherwise affect the work of this Department, I beg to state that so far as I can see the work of this Department in connection with the "Contagious Diseases Ordinance" will not be decreased in any way by the modifications in the Ordinances which the Secretary of State has directed to be made.
